In attesa del prossimo IFA di Berlino, che si terrà a Settembre, quando Samsung presenterà il Note 3, Asus ha annunciato al Computex di Taipei il dispositivo con il quale intende affrontare il sempre più affollato settore dei phablet. Si tratta del FonePad Note (notevole fantasia, direi), terminale da 6 pollici con display super IPS+ full HD, processore dual-core Atom Z2560 da 1,6 GHz e luminosità pari a 450 nits. La fotocamera posteriore è da 8 Mpx, quella anteriore da 1,2, sono disponibili 2 Gb di RAM e pur mancando del modulo LTE saranno garantire connessioni fino a 42 mbps grazie alla connettività DC-HSPA+. Audio garantito dal doppio speaker anteriore e interattività ai massimi livelli grazie alla penna digitale in stile S-Pen. Non è stata rivelata la data di arrivo sui mercati e neanche il prezzo al quale il FonePad Note sarà venduto.
